The steel armors reinforce the brass body, protecting it from being forced and making these padlocks particularly suitable for locking shutters and for use with chains.

Body:

solid forged brass one-piece body padlock.

Main armor:

3 mm thick (2.5 mm for item 4015) case-hardened, tempered, copper, nickel, and chrome-plated steel main armor.

Side armors:

1.5 mm thick case-hardened, tempered, copper, nickel, and chrome-plated steel.

Dead-bolt:

case-hardened, tempered, copper, nickel, and chrome-plated steel, rotating resistant to attack dead-bolt.

Plug:

5 pin plug, pull-resistant, with case-hardened, tempered, copper, nickel, and chrome-plated steel anti-drill plate.

Keys:

supplied with 3 Viro profile nickel-plated brass keys.

Mechanism:

ball type locking;

key removable in a locked and unlocked position;

brass pins;

brass counterpoints;

case-hardened, tempered, copper and nickel-plated steel latch;

phosphor bronze pin springs;

inox stainless steel latch spring.
